Taiwan's Foxconn, the world's largest contract electronics manufacturer, reported a 2.4% drop in fourth-quarter net profit compared to the same period last year.

The company posted T$45.51 billion ($1.42 billion) in net profit for October-December, below the LSEG consensus estimate of T$63.86 billion. The results mark a setback for the supplier of Apple iPhones and Nvidia servers.
