HP Inc. has joined OpenAI's Frontier initiative as one of its first major enterprise partners. The move places the hardware maker at the forefront of the corporate AI race.

The partnership focuses on deploying AI agents across HP's internal operations and customer-facing tools. HP describes these as "AI coworkers."

OpenAI launched the Frontier platform in February 2026. It provides an enterprise toolkit for building, deploying, and managing AI agents that integrate across business systems. The goal is to shift from individual AI use to large-scale organizational deployment.

Other early adopters include Intuit, Oracle, State Farm, and Uber. Dozens of other companies have explored the platform through pilot programs.

The platform operates on traditional cloud infrastructure. It contains no blockchain or token components.
