Figure AI put its humanoid robots to the ultimate test: a live, nonstop warehouse sorting demo with no off switch. The company’s F.03 robots have autonomously sorted 88,000 packages over roughly 72 hours, at a pace of three seconds per package. The livestream will continue until a robot physically breaks down-a deliberate endpoint.

The robots run on Figure AI’s Helix-02 onboard AI system, handling all decision-making locally. No remote operators. No teleoperation. By the 24-hour mark, they cleared over 28,000 packages with zero failures; by 40 hours, roughly 50,000 packages. The livestream has drawn between 3 million and 10 million viewers.

Despite the speed, robotics expert Ayanna Howard points to accuracy issues, noting packages don’t always land precisely. She calls the performance a “science project” rather than a commercial-ready system.

Figure AI’s private valuation has climbed to nearly $40 billion, as competition heats up with Tesla’s Optimus, Boston Dynamics’ Atlas, and 1X Technologies.
