IBM joins the OpenAI Daybreak Cyber Partner Program, integrating AI tools into business operations to better identify and mitigate security risks. A new application security service has launched, utilizing OpenAI's technology to identify and validate software vulnerabilities more efficiently.

This service is part of Project Lightwell, backed by a $5 billion commitment from IBM and Red Hat, designed to secure open-source software. Project Lightwell leverages OpenAI's AI models for code review and remediation. Mark Hughes, IBM Consulting's global managing partner in cybersecurity services, emphasized the partnership's potential to unveil relevant risks swiftly and enable confident actions.
