An immigration software provider, DocketWise, has disclosed a data breach affecting 116,666 individuals. The company detected unauthorized access to login credentials tied to a third-party partner repository.

The incident, which occurred on September 1, 2025, and was discovered on February 19, 2026, exposed names, addresses, Social Security numbers, and government IDs. An investigation revealed that an unauthorized individual accessed and copied client data from partner repositories related to DocketWise's data migration.

DocketWise is used by U.S. immigration professionals to manage legal cases and client records. The exposed data primarily pertains to law firm clients and related individuals. The breach is currently under investigation by Edelson Lechtzin LLP.
