An Iran-linked hacking group has claimed responsibility for a significant cyberattack targeting U.S.-based medical device and services provider Stryker. The attack, which began shortly after midnight, has caused a global outage across Stryker's systems, impacting their Microsoft environment.

Stryker confirmed the "global network disruption" but stated there is no indication of ransomware or malware, believing the incident is contained. The company, with 56,000 employees worldwide, is experiencing a system-wide outage, with staff reporting the logo of the hacking group appearing on login pages. The group, known as Handala, stated the attack was in retaliation for an incident at a school in Minab, Iran. The FBI and CISA have not yet commented on the incident. This incident follows a pattern of disruptive attacks linked to the Handala persona.
