San Francisco-based AI insurance platform Corgi has raised $106 million in a Series B1 funding round led by TCV, bringing its valuation to $2.6 billion. The round also included Prime Capital and Kindred Ventures.
Just three weeks earlier, Corgi had announced a $160 million Series B round at a $1.3 billion valuation, meaning its value has doubled in less than a month. CEO Nico Laqua said the company was profitable last month and plans to use the new capital to expand into trucking, small business, and sports insurance. Corgi provides underwriting, claims handling, and embedded insurance products for commercial clients.
