NASA is targeting March 6th to launch a crew around the Moon for the first time in over 50 years. The Artemis II mission will send four astronauts on a 10-day journey around the far side of the Moon and back to Earth. This mission serves as a crucial step towards future lunar landings.

The launch date was set after a successful "wet dress rehearsal," a critical pre-launch test involving fueling the rocket and a full countdown sequence. This was the Artemis team's second attempt at the practice run at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
