Roblox is overhauling its advertising policies with a new revenue-sharing model set to launch in January 2027. The move aims to end price competition by aligning ad valuations with standardized media metrics.

Beginning May 4, age-appropriate ads will be allowed on the platform. Any content featuring brand compensation or promoting off-platform products must be registered and approved before going live. New labeling tools will be integrated into Roblox Studio to improve transparency and user reporting.

Rewarded ads and promotions in categories like food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and financial services will be restricted for users under 13.
