Samsung has officially added AirDrop support to the Galaxy S26 series, including the S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra. The feature is currently available in Korea and will roll out to U.S. users later this week. To enable AirDrop, go to Settings > Connected devices > Quick Share and toggle on Share with Apple devices. This update marks a significant step in cross-platform file sharing, making it more convenient for users across different operating systems.

AirDrop support on Samsung devices bridges a gap, allowing seamless file transfers between Android and iOS. This move follows Google’s earlier integration of AirDrop with Pixel 10, expanding the compatibility to more devices in 2026. Qualcomm and other manufacturers are also exploring similar features, signaling a broader trend towards interoperability in mobile technology.
