Sonic Labs has launched Spawn, an AI-powered platform designed to convert plain-language prompts into fully deployed decentralized applications (dApps).

The tool aims to simplify the creation of various application types, including NFT minting portals, token-based games, governance frameworks, and financial protocols.

Spawn operates on the Sonic blockchain, a network capable of handling over 10,000 transactions per second with low fees and fast finality, making it ideal for real-time applications.

The platform manages the complete web3 development process, from smart contract generation and deployment to frontend creation and wallet integration. An AI assistant, Spawny, further aids users in adjusting contracts and interfaces via natural language commands.

Samuel Harcourt, a core contributor at Sonic Labs, stated that Spawn addresses the accessibility barrier in web3 development. Users can now describe their dApp ideas in English, and Spawn handles the technical deployment.

"If you can describe your idea, you can deploy it," Harcourt explained. "Simply describe your dApp in plain English, whether it’s a coin flip game where players wager S tokens or an NFT collection with a public mint, and Spawn handles the rest."

Spawn was demonstrated at ETHDenver 2026, showcasing a playable Snake game built from a single text prompt. The platform is scheduled for a limited early-access release before its full public launch.
