Active Shooter Alert Issued at Health Clinic in Northern Saskatchewan

Saskatchewan RCMP have issued an active shooter alert for a health clinic in Pelican Narrows, a community about 500 kilometers northeast of Saskatoon. Police are searching for a suspect described as a man wearing all-black clothing and a face covering, believed to be moving on foot.

Residents are being told to find a safe location, lock their doors, and not approach the dangerous person. Authorities are also asking the public not to share police locations in the community. This alert comes after Pelican Narrows recently set up a security checkpoint at its entrance due to concerns over trespassing, trafficking, and related violence.
