The Artemis II mission is set to launch as early as April 1, marking humanity's return to the Moon. This mission will send four astronauts on a 10-day journey around the Moon to test the Orion spacecraft, paving the way for future lunar landings.

Commander Reid Wiseman: A retired Navy captain and former NASA chief astronaut, Wiseman was selected for this historic mission. He has previously spent time at the International Space Station and is preparing with his family in Florida.

Pilot Victor Glover: One of NASA's few Black astronauts, Glover flew on SpaceX's Crew Dragon to the ISS in 2018. Known for listening to songs from the Apollo era before launches, he sees his role as a "force for good" and an opportunity to inspire others.

Mission Specialist Christina Koch: Holding the record for the longest single spaceflight by a woman, Koch participated in the first all-female spacewalk. Her mission aims to study the effects of long-term space travel on women.

Canadian Fighter Pilot Jeremy Hansen: Making his space debut, Hansen will become the first Canadian to go to the Moon. He has extensive experience as a fighter pilot and has undertaken NASA missions underwater.

All four astronauts are preparing for their mission at Kennedy Space Center, reviewing emergency procedures and staying in quarantine to ensure they are healthy for liftoff between April 1 and 6.
