Petrol sales in Russian-occupied Crimea will cease from Sunday morning as a crisis worsens. Governor Sergey Aksyonov announced that fuel will only be available to government agencies starting June 21 at 9:00 AM.
This fuel crisis has intensified due to Kyiv's targeted strikes on Russian energy sectors, leading to long queues at stations. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed attacks on critical logistics sites on both sides of the Crimean Bridge.
Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov outlined Ukraine's strategy to isolate Crimea, warning it may soon resemble an island, potentially causing unforeseen outcomes for Russian forces.
Meanwhile, Russian bombardments in eastern Ukraine resulted in civilian casualties, with reports of deaths and injuries in Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava regions.
