TEHRAN: Israel said Sunday it still has thousands of targets to strike inside Iran as the Islamic Republic warned other countries against getting involved in the war, which has spread across the Middle East. Tehran's warning came as Rome reported a drone attack on a base in Kuwait hosting US and Italian troops.
Tehran has responded by threatening shipping in the vital Strait of Hormuz, causing global oil prices to surge. US President Donald Trump called on other countries to secure the strait, but responses have been guarded.
Despite the conflict, life in Tehran is returning to some normalcy, with cafes and shops reopening as Nowruz approaches. The UN reports up to 3.2 million people have been displaced in Iran, and over 1,200 killed by US and Israeli strikes.
