At least 10 people have been killed in Israeli air strikes on eastern Lebanon, state media reported. A senior Hezbollah official was among the casualties, the militant group confirmed.

The Israeli military stated it was targeting Hezbollah sites in the Bekaa Valley, alleging these actions violated existing understandings. These strikes represent some of the most lethal in Lebanon since the November 2024 ceasefire ended the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.
This attack followed an earlier Israeli strike on a Palestinian refugee camp in southern Lebanon, which the Israeli army said targeted a Hamas command center. Two individuals died in that incident. Israel has conducted near-daily strikes on Lebanon since the November 2024 ceasefire.
