Indonesia's President Prabowo Subianto stated Saturday that his government is prepared for all possibilities after the US Supreme Court rejected President Donald Trump's proposed global tariffs. The president, who was in Washington D.C. for a bilateral meeting and to sign a trade deal, emphasized respect for U.S. domestic politics and a commitment to monitoring developments.

Indonesia's chief negotiator for U.S. tariffs, Airlangga Hartarto, confirmed that the recently signed trade deal, which lowers tariff rates on Indonesian exports, remains in effect. The government has formally requested continued tariff exemptions for key Indonesian exports, including palm oil, coffee, and cocoa, anticipating differentiated treatment for nations with existing trade agreements with Washington.
