US First Lady Melania Trump has issued a surprise statement strongly denying any association with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein. "The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today," Trump stated. She described individuals spreading these claims as "devoid of ethical standards, humility and respect."
The former model, 55, stated that "fake images and statements about Epstein and me" have circulated for years, emphasizing they are "completely false." She categorically denied any ties to Epstein, with whom she and her husband, former President Donald Trump, were previously photographed. Trump explicitly stated, "I have never had any knowledge of Epstein's abuse of his victims. I was never involved in any capacity. I was not a participant. Was never on Epstein's plane, and never visited his private island."
She further clarified, "I have never been legally accused or convicted of a crime in connection with Epstein sex trafficking, abuse of minors and other repulsive behavior." The First Lady also called on Congress to hold public hearings for Epstein's abuse survivors.
