Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Newsmax Monday that the war on Iran has achieved more than half its aims. He declined to put a schedule on its conclusion, stating progress was measured in missions, not time.
President Donald Trump launched the war on February 28, initially predicting a four-to-six week operation. Secretary of State Marco Rubio now says it will last "weeks" further, not months.
Netanyahu said goals achieved include killing "thousands" of members of Iran's Revolutionary Guards. He added that Israel and the U.S. are close to finishing Iran's arms industry and nuclear program.
The Prime Minister voiced confidence that Iran's regime would collapse internally, though he stated that was not the current goal. The current operation, he said, is degrading Iran's military, missile, and nuclear capacity.
