Prince Harry made a surprise visit to Kyiv on Thursday, arriving at the city's main railway station. He described Ukraine as "a country bravely and successfully defending Europe’s eastern flank." Harry addressed a security conference, urging Russian President Vladimir Putin to end the war and emphasizing that "no nation benefits from the continued loss of life." He stated his presence was as a soldier and humanitarian, not a politician. The Duke of Sussex called for increased American leadership and support for Ukraine, reminding the U.S. of its duty following Ukraine's agreement to give up nuclear weapons.

Harry is also expected to visit the HALO Trust, a landmine deactivation charity supported by his late mother, Princess Diana. He is scheduled to meet with Ukrainian participants of the Invictus Games.
