Sarnia police have doubled the reward for information leading to the arrest of the prime suspect in the fatal Lambton College shooting to $50,000. The increase comes thanks to recent donations.

Authorities are still searching for Kyaw “Chin” Doe, one of two suspects in the April 10 shooting that resulted in one death and two injuries. A Canada-wide warrant is active for his arrest.

Police responded to reports of a shooting at the college bar around 1 a.m., finding three injured individuals. Dane Nisbit, a 20-year-old Sarnia man described as "well-liked," was taken to the hospital in serious condition and later died. Nisbet was a known hockey player in the region.

Investigators believe four people fled the scene in a Toyota Prius. Following searches in London, Ontario, one suspect, Oudom Bun, 23, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder and attempted murder.

During separate searches in Sarnia and Point Edward, police recovered what they believe to be the weapon used in the shooting, a Glock 45. Two women, Ava-Leigh Lightheart and Johnathan Osborne-Walsh, both 19, face charges including accessory after the fact to murder. One woman from the vehicle is now considered a witness.

Kyaw Doe is identified as the prime suspect. He was reportedly subject to a court order prohibiting firearm possession at the time of the incident. He is wanted for second-degree murder, attempted murder, and firearm possession while prohibited. Police allege Doe has ties to criminal networks and may be in hiding.
