United Nations rights chief Volker Türk voiced grave concern over escalating drone warfare in Sudan, following reports of at least 57 civilian deaths in attacks between February 15th and 16th. Among the victims were at least 15 children. These strikes hit a market in North Kordofan, an internally displaced persons shelter in West Kordofan, and two primary schools in South Kordofan. A hospital in Sennar and a fuel store in West Darfur were also reportedly targeted.

A UNICEF aid convoy reaches Dilling and Kadugli in South Kordofan, Sudan, delivering lifesaving supplies to over 130,000 people affected by conflict.

In a separate development, a multi-agency UN convoy has successfully delivered essential humanitarian supplies to Dilling and Kadugli in South Kordofan. The convoy, comprising 26 trucks, carried medical supplies, food, nutrition, water, sanitation, and education resources for over 130,000 individuals. This mission marks the first aid delivery to these areas in over two years, providing a critical lifeline for conflict-affected populations.
