Ukraine is considering postponing peace talks aimed at ending its four-year war with Russia, citing the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has approached the US about changing the location and delaying the meeting, which was scheduled to begin in Abu Dhabi.

Earlier this week, Zelenskyy indicated openness to alternative locations like Turkey or Switzerland and reiterated his readiness to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin to achieve peace. Meanwhile, Ukraine continues prisoner-of-war exchanges with Russia. Despite regional instability, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte assured continued support for Ukraine's defense. Ukraine has also reportedly received requests from partners, including the US, for expertise in defending against Iranian drones, though such assistance is contingent on not weakening Ukraine's own defenses.
