Berrada beaming
Omar Berrada is a happy bunny!
The new Manchester United chief executive is at the SoFi Stadium, and he certainly seems in high spirits.
I wonder if that smile will still be there in two hours?
Time to get warm...
Do they really need a warm-up? It's boiling out in California.
What they do need, is sun cream. If I was there I would be lathering it on every single hour.
You don't want to come away with a burn, that's never nice, is it?
Anyway, they have actually completed their warm-ups, but the photos have only just come through.
Kick-off is in eight minutes!
Penalties beckon
Ermmm....
I think the less said about this, the better.
Personally, I'm not a fan.
The stunning SoFi
Wow, this stadium is a work of art.
As I write this post, the SoFi Stadium is filling to the brim with a buzz in the air.
It's a cracking place to host a match like this, just look at it. A thing of beauty.
Ten Hag: 'A big game'
Erik ten Hag, Man United boss, speaking to MUTV:
It's an amazing stadium, it's a fantastic experience to be here and face an opponent like Arsenal. It's a big game, I hope everyone will enjoy it.
Gunners arrive
Arsenal look like they mean business, don't they?
Not a smile in sight as they enter the SoFi Stadium. All that's on their mind is getting a win.
They could at least give a smirk, though. Look like you are enjoying yourselves, come on.
Blue is the colour...
... Football is the game.
Oh, whoops, wrong club - sorry. Don't get angry please, Manchester United fans.
It was just the first song that popped into my head when I saw the kit your side are wearing tonight.
United will be sporting their new away strip, a cheeky little navy number.
It looks very nice, I must say.
Another shot for Nwaneri
Ethan Nwaneri gets his chance to shine again.
With not all of Arsenal's best midfielders at Mikel Arteta's disposal, the Spaniard has decided to give Nwaneri more game time.
Can he step up?
I think he can. Everything I have seen from him so far suggests that his talent is ready to be deployed in senior football.
I have a feeling he will have a good game today.
Arsenal Team News - Nwaneri STARTS
It's a big game for 17-year-old Ethan Nwaneri.
The Gunners' youngest-ever Premier League player gets his chance in the middle next to Jorginho and Martin Odegaard.
Gabriel Jesus is given the nod to lead the line, while Jurrien Timber is their rock at the back.
A mix of youth and experience.
Man United Team News - Yoro STARTS
Erik ten Hag is not messing about.
The Dutchman has selected a strong Manchester United team to take to the turf in 40 minutes time.
Summer signing Leny Yoro starts alongside Harry Maguire at the centre of defence.
Meanwhile, Rasmus Hojlund will wear his new number nine shirt up top next to Marcus Rashford and Amad Diallo.
No room for Jadon Sancho.
United in da house!
Looking focused, Marcus!
Manchester United have arrived at the SoFi stadium for what could be a mouth-watering contest.
I say could be, that's because it's pre-season. You never know what you are going to get.
Who will be the side that Erik ten Hag entrusts to take down Arsenal?
We will find out very soon...
Crunch time in Cali
Is anybody else as excited as me for this one?
When Manchester United and Arsenal clash, there are almost always fireworks. Even if it is only pre-season.
This is the first mega match of the build-up to the new season. These are the kind of games I love.
It's going to be interesting to see what level both sides are at as August edges closer, and closer.
It may be a friendly, but there will be no such thing as a friendly nature to this game.
Both sides will fight tooth and nail for the win.
So, shall we get cracking? I think we should.
