Team news: Casemiro captains United
Casemiro captains a United starting XI that also features Onana, Mount, Rashford, Sancho and Wan-Bissaka.
The Red Devils have 14 players on their bench. Talk about being prepared!
Team news: Salah starts for Liverpool
Liverpool have named Salah, Jota, Konate, Jones and Elliott in their starting XI.
Manager Arne Slot has also named 11 subs and we fully expect at least 10 of them will feature at some point.
Weather warnings
There's been a fair bit of rain around so far today, which might well suit two teams from England's north-west.
It's still pretty hot around the stadium though - around 26°C right now, having been much higher earlier.
Slightly worryingly, severe thunderstorm warnings have been issued in some surrounding areas.
Let's hope everyone stays safe and that this game is able to go ahead as planned.
When in R̶o̶m̶e̶ South Carolina
Tailgating is a pretty big deal in this part of the world.
It is basically a social get-together that takes place near the stadium before a game, involving food, drinks and music.
A few tents have been put up around the stadium for this one. One family has even brought a portable putting green.
A big night for Liverpool's fringe players
Liverpool fly home from the United States straight after the Manchester United game on Saturday and will arrive back on Merseyside with big decisions to make on the futures of several fringe players, writes Lewis Steele.
There are a number of youngsters – returning loanees or ones stepping up from the academy ranks – who have uncertain short-term futures and new transfer chief Richard Hughes has fielded a large number of calls trying to take them on loan or permanent.
Red Bull Salzburg are pushing hard for talented midfielder Bobby Clark, who had a breakthrough season last term and starred in the Carabao Cup final victory. The Austrian club holds firm interest alongside several other clubs.

Who's here?
Both sides are missing some of their big hitters, with players who went deep at Euro 2024 or the Copa America still on holiday.
So expect to see lots of youngsters tonight who may not necessarily be first-teamers when the Premier League gets underway.
However, there is still a fair bit of star power in each of the squads tonight.
Mo Salah is expected to lead the Liverpool attack for at least some of this game, while Dominik Szoboszlai and Diogo Jota are here too.
Marcus Rashford (right), Jadon Sancho (left), Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Scott McTominay, Mason Mount and Antony are all part of the United party.
How's the summer going so far?
It's been a mixed bag for United in pre-season games this summer.
Erik ten Hag's men kicked off with a 1-0 loss to Rosenborg, before beating Rangers 2-0.
After flying to the States, the Red Devils lost 2-1 to Arsenal (but won a penalty shootout) and then beat Real Betis 3-2.
Liverpool have also faced Betis in America. They beat the Spanish side 1-0, before overcoming the Gunners 2-1.
Where are we?
Tonight's game is the final fixture of both teams' pre-season tours of the USA.
It is being held at Columbia's Williams-Brice Stadium - home to the University of South Carolina Gamecocks college football (not soccer) team program.
The stadium holds 77,559 fans and a big crowd is expected tonight.
It's game day
Good evening, all. Manchester United vs Liverpool is set to kick off in just under two hours (12.45 am UK time).
If ever a pre-season friendly sounded good enough to stay up for it is this one.
