Digital asset provider BitGo has introduced a financing platform for institutional clients to borrow and lend against a range of digital assets in a single account. The system streamlines borrowing, lending, and collateral management, enabling clients to access credit based on a mix of assets rather than individually. It supports loans backed by staked and locked tokens, maintaining asset visibility and control. Institutional clients can lend eligible assets through the platform, deploying capital for yield or accessing liquidity.

Financing activities occur within BitGo's custody environment, with collateral held in separate wallets and credit extended against BTC, ETH, SOL, and stablecoins. This new model consolidates the process, reducing the need for multiple counterparties and manual transfers. Additionally, BitGo now offers flexible terms from two days to two years for advanced users.

Other firms like Coinbase and Kraken are also expanding their crypto lending services, reflecting growing demand and interest in blockchain finance solutions among institutional investors and exchanges.
