Cumberland, the crypto trading arm of DRW Holdings, has again significantly increased its Ethereum holdings. The firm withdrew approximately $31 million worth of Ethereum from Coinbase, signaling continued institutional confidence in digital assets despite market fluctuations.

This latest acquisition follows a substantial withdrawal of nearly $100 million in Ethereum from major exchanges including Coinbase, Binance, and Copper just days prior. Cumberland's wallet now holds a substantial amount of ETH, valued at over $940 million.

Ethereum's position as the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap makes it a prime target for institutional investment. Its robust ecosystem of decentralized applications, staking yields, and use as collateral in lending protocols offer diverse appeal to portfolios seeking digital asset exposure beyond Bitcoin.

DRW Holdings, Cumberland's parent company, is a global proprietary trading firm with deep roots in traditional finance and a long-standing presence in digital assets since 2014. Cumberland has established itself as a key liquidity provider for institutional clients and exchanges.
