T. Rowe Price, the $1.8 trillion asset manager, has amended its SEC registration for a proposed Active Crypto exchange-traded fund. The update maintains the fund’s core structure while adding operational clarity.

The filing lists 15 eligible digital assets: Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP, Avalanche (AVAX), Shiba Inu (SHIB), and newly added Sui (SUI). Anchorage Digital Bank is named as the crypto custodian.
Disclosures expand on share creation, redemption, and active trading risks. The fund will track the FTSE Crypto US Listed Index, with updated weights as of January 2026.

T. Rowe Price's move signals growing adoption of digital assets by traditional finance firms, joining BlackRock, Fidelity, and Franklin Templeton in launching crypto investment products.
