World Liberty Financial, the crypto venture co-founded by President Donald Trump and his sons, announced Monday it has filed a lawsuit against Tron founder Justin Sun. The suit accuses Sun of defamation and alleges he engaged in prohibited token transfers, straw purchases, and short sales. The company claims Sun acted while knowing World Liberty had the right to freeze user tokens.
This countersuit comes after Sun sued the company last month, alleging it illegally froze his holdings of tokens issued by World Liberty Financial.
