A correction has been issued for a 2026 EMJ publication on emerging immunological pathways in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The error involved the use of Roman letters instead of Greek symbols in Figure 2.
The labels Gai, Gaq, Gas, TNF-a, and NF-kB have been corrected to use proper Greek characters: Gαi, Gαq, Gαs, TNF-α, and NF-κB. These updates reflect accurate biochemical nomenclature critical to understanding S1PR1 signaling in SLE pathogenesis.
The revised figure now accurately represents the molecular components involved in immune trafficking pathways. EMJ has apologized for the error and its potential impact on scientific interpretation.
