Ghirardelli Chocolate Company is voluntarily recalling several powdered beverage products. The recall follows a supplier's action to recall milk powder used as an ingredient, citing possible salmonella contamination.

The affected products include various frappe mixes and hot cocoa. While largely sold in bulk for food service, some items were also available online and may be in consumers' homes.

Ghirardelli reports no illnesses linked to this issue and states its own testing has not detected contamination in the finished products. The company emphasized that neither it, its manufacturer, nor the milk powder supplier have received reports of illness or injury to date.
