Salmonella Scare Triggers Recall of Boba Tea & Specialty Drinks

A nationwide recall has been issued for several specialty beverage and dessert mixes due to potential salmonella contamination. SKS Copack announced the recall after an ingredient from California Dairies, Inc. may have been tainted.

The recalled products, sold under brands including Angel Specialty Products, Royal Gold, Boba Time, Fanale, and Denda, were distributed to cafes and restaurants in 24 states, including California, New York, Texas, and Florida.

No illnesses have been reported. Customers are urged to check lot codes on packaging and return affected items to the place of purchase for a full refund.
