General Mills has recalled over 730,000 Pillsbury rolls sold to Walmart due to potential glass contamination.
The voluntary recall, initiated June 19, covers 3,800 cases of Pillsbury Bread Rolls Hard Roll Dough and 1,260 cases of Pillsbury Bread Rolls Kaiser Roll Dough. The products were distributed to Walmart for baking and sale in its in-store bakeries across 19 states.
The Food and Drug Administration classified the action as a Class II recall, indicating the risk of temporary or reversible health consequences.
The company stated the recall was highly contained and all potentially affected product has been removed from shelves.
