AI startup Aidoc has secured $150 million in a Series C funding round led by Goldman Sachs. Nvidia's NVentures, General Catalyst, and SoftBank Investment Advisors also participated. The company's AI platform, aiOS, is designed to help doctors diagnose patients more rapidly by analyzing medical images and other health data.

The system is powered by the Clinical AI Reasoning Engine (CARE), a foundation model capable of analyzing diverse medical data, including images, electronic health records, and lab results. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has cleared CARE for diagnostic tasks across 11 disease indicators, with the company reporting high specificity and accuracy.

Aidoc's aiOS platform can identify unexpected potential disease indicators, known as incidentals, and prioritize them based on severity. The software alerts medical professionals to urgent issues via a mobile app and also assists with data management and identifying patients for clinical trials.

Installed in nearly 2,000 hospitals globally, Aidoc's platform processes data for over 60 million patients annually. The new capital will fund international expansion, enhance the CARE model to detect more diseases, and develop an automated clinical report drafting feature.
