Championship leader Kimi Antonelli topped the timing sheets in Saturday's third practice session for the Monaco Grand Prix, setting a fastest lap of 1:12.720 on the tight street circuit. The 19-year-old Italian outpaced Ferrari's Charles Leclerc by 0.327 seconds and Lewis Hamilton by 0.331, both of whom had led Friday's sessions.

Antonelli enters the weekend with a 43-point championship lead over teammate George Russell after winning four consecutive races. Last year he finished 18th in Monaco.

The practice was briefly red-flagged when Haas driver Oliver Bearman lost control at Massenet corner, hitting the barriers and damaging his rear wing. Bearman apologized over team radio, citing a bump.

Reigning world champion Lando Norris returned to the track after McLaren replaced a faulty wiring harness and battery housing overnight, breaking the curfew. Race organizers confirmed McLaren would not face penalties as this was their first curfew violation of the season. Norris finished ninth fastest.

Qualifying takes place later Saturday. Grid position is critical on the narrow, unforgiving circuit where overtaking is notoriously difficult.
