Charles Leclerc took victory for Ferrari at the British Grand Prix on Sunday after a late safety car period led the field to the finish.
Mercedes driver George Russell finished second, cutting championship leader Kimi Antonelli's points advantage to 25. Lewis Hamilton completed the podium for Ferrari but is under investigation for a potential yellow flag violation.
The safety car was deployed after Red Bull's Max Verstappen crashed with four laps remaining. It stayed on track through the checkered flag, despite a message suggesting it might pit for a final racing lap.
Antonelli, the 19-year-old pole-sitter, had been closing on Leclerc when he reported a car problem with 11 laps to go, eventually finishing 16th.
