Chelsea and West Ham United have been collectively fined over $700,000 by the Football Association following a mass confrontation at the end of their Premier League clash on January 31.

Chelsea was fined $439,140 and West Ham $406,000 after nearly 20 players were involved in a melee. The incident escalated when West Ham's Adama Traore threw Chelsea's Marc Cucurella to the ground, leading to further altercations.

A VAR review resulted in Jean-Clair Todibo of West Ham receiving a straight red card for clutching Joao Pedro's throat. The FA cited both clubs for failing to ensure their players behaved properly and without provocation.
