Daniel Dubois stopped Fabio Wardley in the 11th round on Saturday, handing the British contender his first professional loss and capturing the WBO heavyweight title.
Referee Howard Foster waved off the fight at the start of the 11th. Wardley was bleeding heavily from the bridge of his nose, and his right eye was nearly swollen shut.
Dubois rose from two knockdowns-including one just 15 seconds into the bout-to overwhelm Wardley. The victory makes Dubois a two-time world heavyweight champion. He previously held the IBF title after Oleksandr Usyk vacated it in 2024, though Usyk reclaimed the belt in July 2025.
"It was a war," Dubois said after the fight.
