Oleksandr Usyk announced Friday he has vacated his WBC, WBA, and IBF heavyweight championships. The 39-year-old Ukrainian, who holds a perfect 25-0 record, became the undisputed champion by handing Tyson Fury his first loss in 2024.

"Today is a good day to announce that I want to give up all the titles that I now hold," Usyk said in a video. "To leave them free so that all the guys that are standing in line behind me can box for them."

The 2012 Olympic gold medalist previously relinquished his WBO title and is coming off a TKO victory over Rico Verhoeven last month. Usyk made clear he is not retiring, teasing a "last dance" fight while adding, "Glory to God, Glory to Ukraine."
