Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has publicly apologized to Hall of Famer Charles Barkley for recent critical remarks.
Appearing on "Inside the NBA," Green took aim at Barkley's tenure with the Houston Rockets, a response to Barkley's claim that the Warriors' championship window had closed.
On his podcast, Green clarified: "The disrespect ain't the intent... I can gladly public apologize."
Barkley had told Arizona Sports 98.7 FM: "Draymond is a good player. We’re not on the same level."
The Hall of Famer acknowledged his own disappointing final seasons in Houston, saying: "I regret those Rocket years... but I wasn’t turning down no free money."
Green, 36, and Stephen Curry, 38, face questions about the Warriors' future as their core ages out of title contention.
