Three-time French Open champion Novak Djokovic says he doesn't know if he will return to Roland Garros next year after a stunning third-round loss to Brazilian teenage sensation Joao Fonseca.

The 39-year-old Serb fell in a grueling five-setter, the longest match of his career at four hours and 53 minutes. Despite feeling he played "really good tennis," Djokovic admitted, "I felt like I was barely standing on my legs towards the end."

The 24-time Grand Slam champion-who has been battling injury for three months-lost from two sets up for the first time since his 2010 defeat at the same tournament to Jurgen Melzer. If he returns next year, he would join a rare group of players competing at Roland Garros at age 40.
