Hungarian tennis player Panna Udvardy revealed she received threats targeting her family's safety unless she deliberately lost a match during a tournament in Turkey.

The world number 95 stated on social media that the threats emerged during the Antalya Challenger event. She has alerted the WTA, and her parents have contacted the Turkish consulate.

Udvardy noted that similar threats have reportedly affected other players, suggesting a potential leak from the WTA database, which is now under investigation. Police visited her family members' homes, and Udvardy filed an official report in Turkey after her match.
