Japan Secures Riyadh Ticket, Sweeping Hong Kong at ENC VALORANT Asia Qualifier

Team Japan has qualified for the Esports Nations Cup VALORANT main event in Riyadh. On June 28, 2026, Japan swept Hong Kong 2-0 in the Upper Bracket Final of the Asia Qualifier. The victory grants Japan one of two available seats from the region.

Japan secured a 13-11 victory on Haven before closing the series decisively on Lotus. The team, featuring Meiy, SugarZ3ro, Caedye, Aace, and Dep, previously dispatched Mongolia and India with identical 13-5 scorelines to reach the decisive match.

Hong Kong, represented by SiuFatBB, NoMan, coconut, jkuro, and Ace, now drops to the Lower Bracket. They will fight for the final qualifying spot against other competitors from the nine-team regional bracket that ran from June 26 to 28.

The Esports Nations Cup main event takes place November 8-15, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The tournament features 32 national rosters competing for a $1.5 million prize pool, structured to pit countries against each other rather than standard franchise-based clubs.
