PITTSBURGH - Sidney Crosby and Rickard Rakell scored in the shootout as the Pittsburgh Penguins edged the Winnipeg Jets 5-4 on Saturday.

Erik Karlsson scored twice and has five goals in his last three games. He now has seven goals and 19 points over 12 contests.

Egor Chinakhov recorded his 100th NHL point with a goal. Rakell extended his career-best point streak to eight games.

Cole Koepke scored a short-handed goal for Winnipeg. Brad Lambert added a goal and an assist. Neal Pionk scored in his return after missing 23 games with injury.

Connor Hellebuyck made 26 saves for the Jets, who have lost three straight and five of their last seven.

Pittsburgh earned an extra point in the shootout - its second such win this season - and has collected points in 21 of its last 25 games.
