INDIAN WELLS, California - Jannik Sinner won his first Indian Wells title Sunday, defeating Daniil Medvedev 7-6(6), 7-6(4). The Italian finished with 28 winners, 10 aces, and won all eight net points.

Sinner is now only the third player-alongside Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer-to claim all six ATP Masters 1000 hard-court titles.

He also became the first since 1990 to win consecutive Masters 1000 titles without dropping a set-and extended his winning streak in that category to 11 matches.

Medvedev, who had stunned world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz in the semifinals, fell short in his third Indian Wells final.

"I kept believing and kept pushing," Sinner said. "I went for my shots a little more... I am very happy. It was an incredible ending."

Medvedev called it "a very, very tough match" and praised Sinner’s execution under pressure.
