Naomi Osaka advanced to the last 16 at Wimbledon for the first time, dismantling Daria Kasatkina 6-1, 6-3 on a sun-drenched Court One.

The four-time Grand Slam champion, known for her eye-catching attire including a flower-patterned 'Kill Bill' kimono walk-on robe, says she prefers discussing fashion over tennis. "I'd actually prefer to talk about my clothes," Osaka stated. "In some ways I feel I'm a lot more equipped to talk about my clothes than to talk about my tennis."

She believes her deepening run allows her to tell more stories with her outfits. "The longer I'm in the tournament, the more stories I can tell with my outfits," she added, noting that clothing questions are "endless" compared to on-court topics.

Her powerful forehand and a commanding double break sealed the first set. She closed out the match with a stylish finish to set up a clash against world number one Aryna Sabalenka or Jelena Ostapenko. Confident and with a stable mindset on grass, she noted, "I don't really have as many doubts as I did on clay courts."
