The rivalry between Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar is set to culminate inside Hell in a Cell at SummerSlam in Minneapolis. WWE Hall of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL) has labeled the bout a 'generational matchup.'
Femi defeated Lesnar at WrestleMania 42, prompting a brief retirement. Lesnar returned to win at Clash in Italy.
JBL told Fox News Digital that Femi's charisma is infectious. He compared Femi's signature dance to the cultural phenomenon of The Bushwackers, noting he saw an entire sports bar participate during a WrestleMania broadcast.
'I really think that somewhere in the NFL this year, you're going to see an entire NFL arena doing this dance,' JBL said, predicting athletes like Saquon Barkley or Derrick Henry could popularize it.
JBL praised Femi's abilities. 'I’ve never seen anything like Oba - well, I have. I’ve seen Brock,' he said. 'The guy can even talk and he's gonna be one of the biggest stars in wrestling.'
SummerSlam is scheduled for August 1 and 2 at U.S. Bank Stadium.
