Formula One has canceled its April races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia due to regional safety concerns linked to escalating tensions involving Iran, Israel, and the United States.

"While this was a difficult decision to take, it is unfortunately the right one at this stage," said Formula 1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali.

MotoGP’s Qatar Grand Prix-originally set for 10-12 April at Lusail International Circuit-has been postponed to 6-8 November. MotoGP CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta cited safety and operational integrity as paramount.

The rescheduling forced calendar adjustments, moving Portugal and Valencia rounds.

The intercontinental Finalissima clash between European champions Spain and South American champions Argentina-slated for 27 March at Lusail Stadium-is now under review.

Meanwhile, domestic football continues: the Qatar Stars League resumed Week 18 last week.
