Four-time NBA champion Stephen Curry has signed a 10-year endorsement deal with Chinese sportswear company Li-Ning, ending his sneaker free agency just months after leaving Under Armour.

The 38-year-old guard announced the partnership on social media, calling it "the partnership of a lifetime." The deal covers global expansion of his Curry Brand, including basketball gear, a golf line, leisure clothing, and the ability to sign other athletes.

Curry had been with Under Armour for 13 years before their split in November. He joins other Li-Ning athletes like Dwyane Wade and Jimmy Butler.

Li-Ning was founded by Li Ning, a 63-year-old former Olympic gymnast who won three gold medals for China at the 1984 Los Angeles Games. The company plans to open Curry Brand stores in both the U.S. and China.

"It starts with Mr. Li Ning himself, an athlete founder who's built one of the world's most premium sportswear brands over the past 35 years," Curry said.
