SINGAPORE: World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has released Singaporean wrestler Dante Chen, concluding his five-year tenure with the company.
The 30-year-old, identified as Sean Tan, confirmed his departure on social media platform X.
"Goodbye and thank you, WWE. Five years, 147 matches," Chen stated. He expressed pride in being the first Singaporean-born WWE superstar, hoping to inspire others with his journey.
Chen debuted on WWE's NXT program in September 2021, achieving a swift victory. Throughout his time with WWE, he primarily competed on NXT, not advancing to the main Raw or SmackDown rosters.
Previously wrestling as Trexxus in Singapore, Tan began his wrestling career in February 2012. Chen's release follows similar departures from WWE this year.
